Wanda F. (Patterson) Patton

Wanda F. (Patterson) Patton, 76, of Sidney, Ohio passed away on Wednesday, October 11, 2023 at Wilson Health. Wanda was born May 29, 1947 in Lincoln County, Kentucky the daughter of Arthur and Mary (Wilson) Patterson.

Wanda is survived by her two children, Virginia Chambers and Keith Drinnen both of Sidney, Ohio, also surviving are five grandchildren and one great grandchild on the way, along with two siblings, James Patterson and Joseph Patterson. Wanda was preceded in death by her husband Ray Patton, along with both parents, nine siblings Katie Sims, Virginia Sims, Myrtle Alvery, Maxine Greer, Marshall Patterson, Lilburn “Lee” Patterson, Betty Robertson, Pearly Webb, and Edith Snow.

Wanda graduated from Casey County High School. Wanda worked for as a nurse aid, also as custodial for the school, and for a cleaning company for many years before retiring. Wanda was a member of the Sidney Moose Lodge and the Eagles in Indiana. Wanda was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to Wanda’s work, she enjoyed hanging out watching her grandchildren sporting events, watching Tony’s family do karaoke, was an big scary movie fan, but most of all spending time with her grandchildren, children, family, and friends.

She was loved by many and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.                                                                                      

Family and friends may call Monday, October 16, 2023 from 11:00 AM until the time of the service at Salm-McGill and Tangeman Funeral Home in Sidney, Ohio. A funeral service will be held at 12:00 PM on Monday, October 16, 2023 with Pastor Earnie Jones. Interment will follow at Shelby Memory Gardens in Sidney, Ohio.
