Tamala Knese

Tamala J. Knese, 64, of Sidney, Ohio, was called home to heaven on November 5, 2022, at her residence in Sidney, Ohio surrounded by her family. She was born May 12, 1958, in Dayton, Ohio, the daughter of Edwin and Dorothy (Adams) Knese.

Tamala is survived by three children, Jayleen Branscum, of Sidney, Ohio, Jodi Mensching of Dayton, Ohio, and Danielle Stamper of Sidney, Ohio; two sisters Terri Fisher, Kathy Ernst; two brothers Fritz Knese, Tony Knese, along with seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Tamala was preceded in death by both of her parents, one sister and one angel baby.

Tamala attended high school in Dayton, Ohio. Following school, Tamala went to work for Edgewell for many years until retiring in 2016. Tamala enjoyed playing pool, watching OSU play, Halloween, rollercoaster, but most of all spending time with all her grandchildren and especially her children. Tamala will be missed by many. Tamala was of the Christian faith.

In keeping with Tamala’s wishes, she will be cremated, and a celebration of life will be held at a later date. Online condolences may be left for the Knese family at www.salm-mcgillandtangemanfh.com.
