Loretta Everman Obituary

Loretta Mary Everman, 95, died at Fair Haven Shelby County Home, 2901 Fair Road, Sidney, Ohio on Wednesday, April 14, 2010 at 10:52 AM. She was born March 10, 1915 in Fort Loramie, Ohio the daughter of John and Anna (Meyer) Holthaus and they are deceased. She was married to Wilfred Everman on October 22, 1941 and he died January 12, 1998. Surviving are four children, Patricia Lammert and husband Paul of Springboro, Ohio; Wayne Everman and wife Ann of Sidney, Ohio; Elaine Everman of Troy, Ohio and Marlene Quinter and husband Dan of Duluth, Georgia; one sister, Alvina Peltier and husband Leonard of Russia, Ohio and one brother, Urban Holthaus of Versailles, Ohio and eleven grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. Two sisters, Carrie Griesdorn and Emily Brackman and four brothers, Lawrence Holthaus, Gregor Holthaus and two infant brothers are deceased. Mrs. Everman worked at Montgomery Wards in Sidney for many years in the housewares department. She was a volunteer at the FISH organization in Sidney. She was a member of Holy Angels Catholic Church in Sidney. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, April 19, 2010 at 10:30 AM at Holy Angels Catholic Church with Rev. Dan Schmitmeyer. Burial will be at Graceland Cemetery, Sidney. Friends may call at Salm-McGill and Tangeman Funeral Home on Sunday, April 18, 2010 from 4-8 PM. Memorial contributions may be made to Holy Angels Tuition Assistance Program, 324 S. Ohio Ave., Sidney, Ohio 45365. Envelopes will also be available at the funeral home.
