Lawrence (Larry) A. Myers

Lawrence (Larry) A. Myers Jr., 57, of Sidney, Ohio passed away on August 4, 2023, at UC Medical Center in Cincinnati, Ohio. He was born February 13, 1966 in Troy, Ohio, the son of Lawrence Sr. and Norma (Ankeney) Myers.

Larry is survived by his children Megan Myers of Sidney, Ohio, Mitchell Myers of Troy, Ohio, step daughter Malia McMahan of Sidney, Ohio, lifelong partner Tiffany McMahan of Sidney, Ohio, and two grandchildren Mias Myers and Maizlee Myers, and three siblings, Melody Taylor, Cheryl (Doug) Flory, and Anita Myers. Larry was preceded in death by both his parents Lawrence Sr. and Norma (Ankeney) Myers, and one sibling Maurice “Rick” Alexander.

Larry is a 1984 graduate from Troy High School and the Joint Vocational School where he was an officer in Vocational Industrial Clubs of America. Larry worked for many years in customer service. Larry had many goals in life that he wanted to achieve. Larry was able to achieve one of his biggest goals which was to get clean and he was an active believer of the Christian Faith.

In addition to all Larry’s work and goals, he enjoyed fishing, hunting, riding his bicycle, watching movies, playing cards, watching the Colts play, was an avid collector of hot wheel cars, along with anything to do outdoors, but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, children, family, and friends.

He was loved by many and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Family and friends may call Monday, August 14, 2023 from 10:00 AM until the time of the service at Salm-McGill and Tangeman Funeral Home in Sidney, Ohio. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, August 14, 2023, with Evangelist Portia McCutchins. Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery in Troy, Ohio.
