Joanne L. Combs, 67, 1520 Spruce Ave., Sidney, Ohio died at Wilson Memorial Hospital on Friday, July 16, 2004 at 12:27 AM. She was born May 22, 1937 in Sidney, Ohio the daughter of Bud and Edna (Glick) Slife and they are deceased. She was a devoted housewife, mother, homemaker and grandmother. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by one son, one daughter, one sister and one grandson. She is survived by her husband Marshall of Sidney, Ohio; children, Bill Robinson of Piqua, Ohio; Kathy Allen of Carollton, Ohio, Tom Combs, Penny Ludwig and Denise Barnes all of Sidney; six brothers, Jim Slife of Tennessee, Rick Slife, Tom Slife, Leonard Slife all of Piqua, Ohio; Don Slife of Troy, Ohio; and Larry Slife of Ft. Loramie, Ohio; one sister, Linda Davis of Sidney, Ohio; twelve grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Friends may call on Monday, July 19, 2004 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at Salm-McGill and Tangeman Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, July 20, 2004 at 10:00 AM with Rev. Philip Chilcote. Burial will be at Fletcher Cemetery, Fletcher, Ohio. Memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home to help cover funeral expenses.
