Erma K. Cotrell, 96, formerly of Fort Loramie, Ohio passed away at Fair Haven Shelby County Home, Sidney, Ohio on February 18, 2021, at 5:20 am. She was born on April 18, 1924, in Troy, Ohio, the daughter of Samuel and Rosella (McCrossin) Brown. Erma, was married to James C. Cotrell, who preceded her in death in 1993.
Erma, is survived by her children: Samuel (Phyllis) Cotrell, of Fort Loramie, Calvin (Vickie) Cotrell, of Fort Loramie, and six grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren, and ten great-great grandchildren. Along with her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter Sandra Cotrell, grandchild Jamie Cotrell, great grandchild Jay Luthman, and great great grandchild Madison Luthman, along with Erma’s seven sisters, and four brothers.
She was an inspector for Copeland Corporation in Sidney, Ohio for many years before retiring. Erma, loved to play bingo and was an avid card player. She also enjoyed working the polls during election time. Erma was a member of the Shelby Co. Senior Center. She was of the Christian faith.

Ohio Ave. Sidney Ohio 45365, on Thursday February 25, 2021 from 5 to 7PM and again Friday February 26, 2021 from 9:30am until the hour of the service at 10:00am at the funeral home. Services will be held Friday, February 26, 2021, at 10:00am, with David Hewitt, officiating. Interment will follow at Shelby Memory Gardens, Sidney, Ohio.
