Elizabeth Palmer Obituary

Elizabeth D. Palmer, 99, Dorothy Love Retirement Community, 3003 W. Cisco Road, Sidney, Ohio died at the retirement community on Thursday, August 5, 2010 at 4:20 PM. She was born January 10, 1911 in Waterloo, New York the daughter of Frank and May (Sage) Densberger and they are deceased. She was married to John Curtis Palmer and he is deceased. One son, Frank Palmer of Alaska survives along with 10 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren. One daughter, Elizabeth Tramontana and one brother are deceased. Mrs. Palmer was an English teacher in the Kenmore, New York area at one time; a member of the Retired Teacher's Association; Kenmore YWCA and the Kenmore Culture Club. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Sidney. A memorial service will be held at the Dorothy Love Retirement Community chapel on Sunday, August 15, 2010 at 1:00 PM with Rev. Keith Matthews. Burial will be at a later date at Elmwood Cemetery in Kenmore, New York. Salm-McGill and Tangeman Funeral Home in Sidney is handling the funeral arrangements. Memorial contributions may be to the American Diabetes Association, 644 Linn Street, Suite 304, Cincinnati, Ohio 45203. Envelopes will also be available at the memorial service.
