Diana L. Deel

Diana L. Deel, 77, of Sidney, Ohio, was called home to heaven on August 14, 2022, at Lima Memorial Hospital in Lima, Ohio. She was born December 4, 1944, in Troy, Ohio, the daughter of William and Mary (Hanson) Shepard, who are deceased. In August of 1990, Diana married her husband Robert (Bob) Deel and he survives.

Diana is survived by her husband, Robert along with one son, Brandon (Patti) Deel of Sidney, Ohio, four siblings, Suzanne Floyd, Lynn Imlay, Elizabeth Putnam, George Shepard, and three grandchildren. Diana was preceded in death by both her parents, daughter, Andrea Janetzke, and two brothers, Christopher and William Shepard.

Diana graduated from Miami East High School, class of 1962. Following graduation, Diana went on to Ballet School in Chicago. Diana worked as a transcriptionist for many years before retiring. Diana enjoyed traveling, gardening, taking bike rides, dancing, going to parks, working out, but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and her family. Diana will be missed by many. Diana was of the Christian faith.

In keeping Diana’s wishes she will be cremated following her visitation. Friends may call at Salm-McGill and Tangeman Funeral Home in Sidney, Ohio on Thursday, August 18, 2022 from 12:00pm to 2:00 pm at the funeral home.
