Dave was preceded in death by his parents along with his brother-in-law’s Donald Laskowski, Robert Ehlers and many aunts and uncles.

Dave graduated from Holy Angels High School in 1960.  He was employed at Amos Press/Vision Mark for 42 years retiring in 2004.

In addition to Dave’s work he was a member of Holy Angels Catholic Church in Sidney and previously served on the parish council, was a mass usher for over 50 years, and was the head of the clown ministry with the parish youth group.  Dave was a member of the Knights of Columbus, where he was a Past Grand Knight and worked on many committees and functions. Dave was a loving and dedicated husband, father, grandfather & great-grandfather. He proudly followed his grandsons in their activities throughout their school years and continued to be very active & involved in their adult lives. Dave never knew a stranger, was super friendly, had a great sense of humor, beautiful smile, loved to talk (and with his hands too), spoke to everyone he encountered and truly touched so many lives, making a difference.

Dave had many hobbies.  He enjoyed gardening (especially loved flowers), painting scenery pictures, fishing, boating with family & friends, playing cards and a marble game, and traveling.
