David C. Coble, 83, of Sidney, Ohio, was called home to heaven on November 13, 2022, at home surrounded by his family in Sidney, Ohio. He was born September 20, 1939, in Sidney, Ohio, the son of Bernard and Olive (Kurtz) Coble who are deceased. In 1960, David married Beverly (Bensman) Coble and she survives.
David is survived by his wife of 62 years, Beverly, along with two children, Dave (Chris) Coble and Julie (Rob) Bornhorst; five grandchildren Andy Bornhorst, Jenna Larger, Morgan, Camden, and Madelyn Coble, and six great grandchildren. David was preceded in death by both his parents and one sister, Theresa Coble.
David graduated from Holy Angels School in Sidney, Ohio, class of 1958. After serving in the United States Army, David worked at Amos Press in Sidney, Ohio for many years before retiring. David enjoyed traveling with his family, fishing, hunting, coaching baseball, watching sports, especially OSU and the Cleveland Browns, and the pappy traps with the grandchildren, but most of all spending time with his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, family, and friends. David will be missed by many. David was a member of Holy Angels Catholic Church in Sidney, Ohio.
Friends may call at Salm-McGill and Tangeman Funeral Home in Sidney, Ohio on Friday November 18,, 2022 from 9:00AM – 10:30AM at the funeral home. Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 18, 2022 at 10:30 AM at Salm-McGill & Tangeman Funeral Home with Deacon Paul Luthman. Interment will follow at Shelby Memory Gardens in Sidney, Ohio with full military honors by the Sidney American Legion.
