Darren R. Covault

Darren R. Covault, 58, of Sidney, Ohio passed away on June 21, 2023, at Kettering Health Dayton in Dayton, Ohio. He was born April 2, 1965 in Piqua, Ohio, the son of Richard and Sharon (McClurg) Covault.

Darren is survived by his mother, Sharon Covault of Anna Maria Island, Florida, former wife Angela Covault of Dayton, Ohio; three children, Thomas Covault of Chicago, Illinois, Jack Covault, and Emma Covault both of Sidney, Ohio and two siblings, Mark (Tara) Covault, and Joni (Bob) Geuy of Piqua, Ohio. Darren was preceded in death by his father, Richard Covault.

Darren graduated from Lehman High School in 1984. Darren was a farmer for many years. Darren was a member of the Sidney Elk’s and a member of Holy Angels Catholic Church.

In addition to all Darren’s work, he enjoyed watching the Brown’s play, farming, reading, putting puzzles together, but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his children, family, and friends.

He was loved by many and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

A private service will be held at the convenience of the family at Salm-McGill and Tangeman Funeral Home in Sidney, Ohio. Darren’s final resting place will be at Fletcher Cemetery, Fletcher, Ohio.
