Danny R. Gallagher

Danny R. Gallagher, 67, of Sidney, Ohio passed away on July 2, 2023, at Wilson Memorial Hospital in Sidney, Ohio. He was born November 8, 1955 in Sidney, Ohio, the son of Clinton and Evelyn (Fuller) Gallagher. On December 31, 2000, he married Ruth (Ahrns) Gallagher, who survives.

Along with Ruth, he is survived by his children, April (Michael) Richards, Danielle (Andrew) Evilsizor, Jennifer Michael, Amy Wilson, eight grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, and two siblings Cindy (Jeff) McMaster and Darrell (Kim) Gallagher. Danny was preceded in death by both his parents, Clinton and Evelyn (Fuller) Gallagher.

Danny graduated from Sidney High School in 1973. Following high school, Danny entered the Army serving our country. Danny worked at Cargill for twenty-seven years before he retired.

In addition to all Danny’s work, he enjoyed going to their cabin in Quincy, fishing, going to flea markets, and living life to the fullest, but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his children, all his grandchildren, family, and friends.

He was loved by many and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Family and friends may call Monday, July 10, 2023 from 11:00 AM until the time of the service at Salm-McGill and Tangeman Funeral Home in Sidney, Ohio. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, July 10, 2023 with Pastor Chad Inman. Interment will follow at Shelby Memory Gardens in Sidney, Ohio.
