Cynthia A. Staley, 72, of Piqua, Ohio, was called home to heaven on February 1, 2023, at Ohio Hospice of Dayton in Dayton, Ohio. She was born April 2, 1950, in Piqua, Ohio, the daughter of Huber and Claire (Altenbach) Staley, who are deceased.
Cynthia is survived by one brother, Greg (Lynda) Staley of Punta Gorda, Florida, one half-sister Paige Stemen, nephew Scott (Krista) Staley of Fishers, Indiana and great nephews, Alex and Noah Staley, and brother-in-law Ted Ethell and great nephew Chris. Cynthia was preceded in death by both her parents and one sister, Becky Ethell and one fur baby cat, Trudy.
Cynthia graduated from Piqua Catholic High School class of 1968. Cynthia worked as a secretary at Hobart Manufacturing in Troy, Ohio for many years before retiring. Cynthia enjoyed watching a variety of movies, the OSU Buckeyes, and the Cincinnati Bengal’s, and she also like spending time with friends at the Sunset Square Community, but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her fur baby cat Jack. Cynthia was loved by many and will be greatly missed. Cynthia was of the Catholic faith.
In keeping with Cynthia’s wishes she will be cremated and a private service services will be held at the conveniences of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Miami County Hospice or your local animal shelter in remembrance of Cynthia.
