Charles Douglas Opphile, 55, 423 N. Main Ave., Sidney, Ohio died at his residence on Sunday, August 24, 2008 at 1:00 PM of natural causes. He was born August 21, 1953 in Kenton, Ohio the son of John Riley Opphile Sr. and Mabel (Taylor) Wilson and they are deceased. Surviving is one sister, Marcille Swiger of Piqua, Ohio; three brothers, Will Opphile of Moraine, Ohio; John Riley Opphile Jr. of Shrevesport, Louisiana; and Doug Wilson stationed in Iraq. He attended Fairlawn Schools. He was a United States Army veteran. He loved fishing and playing cards. He was a laborer. Memorial contributions may be made to the Shelby County Humane Society, 114 N. Ohio Ave., Sidney, Ohio 45365. He body will be cremated and there are no funeral services.
