Bruce T. Willoughby, 73, of Fordland, Mo., formerly of Sidney, went to be with his Lord and Savior at his residence on November 7, 2020 at 5:40 am. He was born on August 15, 1947, the son of Talmadge W. Willoughby and Elizabeth J. (Clayton), both parents preceded him in death.
He was a retired machinist, and a truck driver before completely retiring. He was an avid Harley Davidson enthusiast, and quite an accomplished guitarist. He was a US Army Veteran of the Vietnam War. Bruce loved being with his family, and when in Sidney, he was a member of Grace Baptist Church.
He is survived by his children: Angela Phillips, of Sidney; Jeremy Willoughby of Sidney; Amber Willoughby (Fred) Herron, of Fordland Mo.; and Audra (Tony) Horn. He had 3 sisters: LaJuana (Paul) Nation of Tipp City; Pamela (Gene) Miller, of Lewistown, and Patricia (Mike) Mollohan. He was the proud grandfather of 12 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
Friends may call on Friday, November 20, 2020, at Salm-McGill and Tangeman Funeral Home 502 S. Ohio Ave. Sidney Ohio 45365 from 10am-12 noon. At 12 noon, there will be a service at the funeral home Officiated by Rev. Dr. Larry Clayton, and Pastor Stephen Clayton, followed by internment at Glen Cemetery. At the cemetery, this Vietnam Veteran will be rendered full military honors by the US Army Honor Guard, The American Legion/VFW Combined Honor Guard Sidney Post, and the Patriot Guard Riders.
