Paul Edward Hayden, age 59, of Anna, Ohio, passed away at his residence on January 30, 2026. He was born on January 6, 1967, to Forest Edward Hayden and Barbara Ann (Morrison) Hayden, both of whom preceded him in death.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Jennifer (Seger) Hayden. Paul was a proud father to Ashley & Dustin Mackenzie-Pearce, Brice & Lilly Kellem, Shay Hayden, and Gabriel Hayden. Nothing brought him greater joy than his role as “Papaw” to his grandchildren, Atlanta, Atalyn, Ansleigh, McKenna, and Ruth Ann, who were the light of his life. Paul is also survived by his sisters, Michele & Kent Hayden, Kellie & Allen Folkerts, and Stephanie Hayden.
He was a graduate of Sidney High School, Class of 1985, and went on to build a life centered around passion and skill. Paul was a respected business owner and tattoo artist, operating Spectrum Studio in Sidney and Brass Knuckle Tattoo in Celina, Ohio. His artistry, attention to detail, and commitment to his craft left a lasting impression on clients and friends alike.
Outside of his professional work, Paul had a lifelong love for cars and motorcycles. He enjoyed fixing engines, installing custom stereo systems, drag racing, and building choppers from the frame to completion. His garage was a place of creation, learning, and fellowship—where projects were shared, stories were told, and friendships were strengthened.
Above all, Paul treasured time spent with family and friends. Whether working on a vehicle, attending races, or simply gathering together, he valued connection and loyalty. Those who knew him will remember his generous heart, steady hands, and the way he showed love through action.
Paul Edward Hayden will be deeply missed, but his legacy lives on through the family he cherished, the art he created, and the countless lives he touched.
In keeping with Paul’s wishes, cremation will take place, and a celebration of life will be held at a later time. In Paul’s honor, memorial contributions be made to Wilson Health Hospice. Salm - McGill & Tangeman Funeral Home is honored to serve the Hayden Family.
