Marcella "Marcy" Mae Hauff, 46, of Houston, Ohio, went home to be with Jesus on July 22, 2026, at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton. Marcy was born on October 18, 1979, to Velma Smith and Joseph Hauff in Sidney, Ohio.

She is survived by her mother, Velma Smith; her sons, Austin Wita, Devon Wita, Chace Wita, and Waylon Goings; and her four grandchildren, with one on the way, as well as a special friend - Curtis Pleasant, and his children - Austine and Haley. She was preceded in death by her son, Alan Wita; her husband, Mark Wita; her brother, Louis Hauff; and her father, Joseph Alan Hauff. 

Marcy was a firm believer in Jesus and loved her Russell Road church family. She was a caregiver and loved caring for not only people but every animal she could find as well. Her legacy is a beautiful testimony of God's grace and will encourage many during this season and in the years to come.

The family would like to express their gratitude to Terry Helman and Amber Mayse, as well as her fellow employees at Dorothy Love, for their kindness and support during this time.

Marcy's wishes were to be cremated, and she will be laid to rest alongside her son, Mark Alan Wita, at Shelby Memory Gardens on July 31, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. A procession will begin at Salm–McGill & Tangeman Funeral Home at 12:30 p.m., leading to the cemetery. Services are in the care of Salm–McGill & Tangeman Funeral Home, Sidney.
