Kathleen Eshman

Kathleen Jane Newman-Eshman, passed away on Sunday, February 2, 2025 at her home in Anna, Ohio. Kathy was born on March 16, 1954, in Cincinnati, Ohio, to the late Paul Jonson Newman and the late Marcella Lucille McElfresh-Newman. She spent her early life in New Richmond, Ohio, until her family moved to Sidney, Ohio, in 1971. She graduated from Sidney High School in June, 1972. She married Thomas H. (Hank) Eshman II for whom she worked as a legal secretary and accompanied him on his military career. In November, 2020, she and her husband returned to Shelby County where they purchased a home in Anna. She is survived by her husband of nearly 44 years, her son, Thomas H. (Max) Eshman III, her sister Lisa Newman-Williams, her brother, David Newman, 4 grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, and numerous cousins. The family will hold a private celebration of life.
