Judy Vance

Judy A. Vance, 82, formerly of Sidney Ohio, passed away on March 15, 2026, at CHP Defiance Inpatient Hospice in Defiance, Ohio. She was born on December 20, 1943, in Bellefontaine, OH. She was the daughter of Joe and Kathryn (Smith) Horn. On January 8, 1971, she married the love of her life Edward L. Vance, who preceded her in death in 2023.

Surviving are her children, Todd (Cindy) Price, Amanda (Jonathan) Young, Mary K  (Brian) Rachel, Thirteen grandchildren, Twenty-one great-grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren, along with her sister Elaine (Gene) Mitchell, and two nieces, one nephew and their families. Judy was preceded in death by both her parents, Joe and Kathryn (Smith) Horn, one son Timothy Price whose wife, Kay Price survives, and one grandson Rodney Fuller, and one nephew Steven Mitchell.

Judy graduated from Belle Center High School in 1962. She enjoyed playing euchre, bowling, and knitting. She was known for her strong love of family and the joy she found spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She cherished family, friends and gatherings. She created many lasting memories with those she loved. Judy will be remembered for her caring heart, her strength, and the love she shared with everyone around her.

Her family and friends will forever treasure the time they shared with her, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

A visitation will be held at Salm - McGill & Tangeman Funeral Home on Saturday - March 21, 2026, from 9 Am until the time of the funeral at 11 AM, with Michael Mitchell officiating. Services are in the care of Salm - McGill & Tangeman Funeral Home - Sidney.
