Eleanor Jean Clayton

Eleanor Jean Clayton, 79, Piqua Manor Nursing Home, 1840 W. High St., Piqua, Ohio died at the Upper Valley Medical Center, Troy, Ohio on Sunday, January 30, 2005 at 8:05 AM of natural causes. She was born December 19, 1925 in Dayton, Ohio the daughter of Melvin and Eleanora (Wagner) Williams. She was married December 31, 1945 to Donald Clayton and he died in 1992. Surviving are two sons, Randall Clayton and his wife Dora of Maplewood, Ohio and Gary Clayton and his wife Ann of Sidney, Ohio; five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. One brother is surviving, Richard Williams of Beavercreek, Ohio. One son is deceased, Glen Clayton. She was a member of the Piqua Baptist Church and was a homemaker. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 2, 2005 at 10:00 AM at Salm-McGill and Tangeman Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Clayton. Burial will be at Graceland Cemetery, Sidney, Ohio. Friends may call at Salm-McGill and Tangeman Funeral Home on Tuesday, February 1, 2005 from 6-8 PM.
