Dorothy Ann Jutte, 93, of Sidney, Ohio passed away on December 3,2025 at 2:33pm at Elmwood in New Bremen, Ohio. She was born February 08,1932 in McCartyville, Ohio to the late Frank and Rose Schmitmeyer of McCartyville, Ohio. 

On September 10, 1955 she married the late Donald Jutte. They were the proud parents of five children, ten grandchildren, and eight great grandchildren Larry (Quetta) Jutte from Dublin, Ohio and their children Jason (Joanna) Jutte with two children, Elizabeth(Todd) Kill with two children and Aaron(Amy) Jutte; Catherine (Andy) Garrett from Bridgeville, PA and her children Brandy George with four children and Christopher Macleod; LeRoy (Ruth) Jutte from Highlands Ranch, Colorado and their sons Christopher (Dana) and Brandon; Kevin (Dianna) Jutte from Sidney, Ohio with their son Jacob; and Lisa (John) Brown from Cincinnati, Ohio and their children MacKenzie (Max) Elliott with one child and Madilyn. Siblings: Donald Schmitmeyer of McCartyville, Ohio. In-law Madonna Brunswick of Coldwater, Ohio.

She was preceded in death by her husband Donald Jutte, grandson Christoper Macleod and in-laws Lawrence & Wilma Baumer, Doris Schmitmeyer, Mark & Rosemary Schwieterman, Orval & Helen Schwieterman, Roger & Dorothy and second wife Deloris Schwieterman, John Brunswick, Tom & Vivian Jutte.

 She was a member of Holy Angels Catholic church in Sidney, Ohio and active member with the Alter Rosary Society a Eucharistic Minister and enjoyed participating in the choir. Also, the treasurer for Church Women United, a volunteered at Holy Angels school and a Girl scout leader. She owned and operated Jutte Upholstery for 20 years. After retiring she volunteered at Dorothy Love retirement community. Dorothy and Don enjoyed camping on weekends with the family. The character of Dorothy could be seen in her outreach to help, family, friends, or Neighbors.

Friends and family may call at the Sacred Heart Catholic church McCartyville, Ohio from 9:00 - 10:00am, followed with a Mass of Christian burial at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in McCartyville, Ohio at 10:30am, December 13th, 2025, with burial following at Sacred Heart Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers the family request donations can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association https://www.alz.org/
