Ashlee Gale Holmes, 17, of Sidney, passed away on Monday, February 16, 2026. She was born on September 11, 2008, to the late Jeffrey Holmes and Annette Holmes.

Ashlee is survived by her siblings, Raymond Holmes, Emily (Sam) Singh, and Hailey Holmes; as well as her stepmother, Tracy Holmes.

Ashlee had a creative spirit and a deep love for art — from skin art and wall art to drawing her own designs. She enjoyed spending time with her family, playing video games, and could often be found with her headphones on, listening to her favorite music. Ashlee also had a special place in her heart for animals and was the proud owner of three dogs and four cats.

A visitation will be held for Ashlee and her son, Brandon Michael Holmes, on Saturday, February 21, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 a.m., at Salm - McGill & Tangeman Funeral Home,  officiated by Pastor Jake Kirk. Burial will follow at Pearl Cemetery in Sidney.
