Andrew Gene Boyd

Andrew G. Boyd, 45, of Fort Wayne, IN, passed away on November 20, 2025. Born in Toledo, Ohio, on July 4, 1980, Andy was a devoted husband, father, brother, uncle, and friend whose presence brought joy and comfort to all who knew him.

Andy is survived by his beloved wife, Misty A. Boyd, and his cherished children: Jonathan D. (Saylor) Boyd, Analissa M. Boyd, Andrew K. Boyd, and Asher K. Boyd. He is also survived by his brother, Anthony (Amanda) Boyd; his sister, Jennifer Boyd; and a host of nieces and nephews, and sister in law - Candy Lamb. He was preceded in death by his parents, Cathy Rocha and Pedro Rocha, and his nephew, Jaden Nelson.

A proud veteran, Andy honorably served his country in the United States Army. He carried that same spirit of loyalty and service into his everyday life, always meeting people where they were without judgment. Known for his easygoing nature, Andy had a gift for making others feel at ease—whether through his humor, his heartfelt advice, or simply his presence. He loved working on cars, sharing laughter, and spending quality time with his family. Holidays and birthdays were sacred to him, moments he never missed with his children.

A visitation will be held on Monday, December 8th, 2025, at 10 AM, until the time of the funeral service at 11 AM, at Chapel of Praise Holiness Church, New Haven, Indiana. Burial will follow at IOOF Cemetery. Funeral services have been entrusted to Salm - McGill & Tangeman Funeral Home - Sidney, Ohio.
