Alice Jean Schultz, 79, of Sidney, passed away on March 12, 2026, at 4:35 AM, at Ohio Living Dorothy Love - Sidney. She was born on July 27, 1946, to the late William and Rose Stewart, in St. Paul, Minnesota.

On February 17, 1968, Alice married Gary Schultz, and they had 52 wonderful years together before he passed away in 2020. Alice is survived by her three children - Kenneth Schultz, Catherine (Jason) Courter, and Matthew Schultz, as well as three grandchildren - Caleb Courter, Madison (Matthew) Miller, Elias Courter, and a great-grandchild - Kian Courter. Alice was a very loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, and enjoyed her family very much.

Alice also leaves behind a sister - Carol (Tom) Yeakel, two brothers - William Stewart and John Stewart, as well as brothers and sisters-in-law - Marjorie Schultz, Robert (Dee) Schultz, Mark Schultz, Sally (Peter) Brooks, Ruth Seaquist, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother-in-law - Fred Schultz, her parents, as well as her husband, Gary.

Alice was retired from Advanced Composites, where she worked in the accounting department. She was an avid gardener and loved to sew quilts and enjoyed making crafts.

She loved to share her sewing creations with relatives and friends. She also loved to pass her creative talents to others, especially her children and grandchildren. Alice also enjoyed playing bridge with her friends. She was a parishioner of Holy Angels Catholic Church in Sidney.

A visitation will be held on Monday, March 16, 2026, at Salm - McGill & Tangeman Funeral Home from 10 AM until the time of the funeral service, officiated by Rev. Deacon Mr. Phil Myers, at 11 AM. Burial will follow at Graceland Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made in her honor to Wilson Health Hospice.
