Robert Cisco Obituary

Robert Lee Cisco, 70, 3600 St. Rt. 47 West, Sidney, Ohio died at Heritage Manor Nursing Home, Minster, Ohio on Monday, September 29, 2003 at 10:43 AM after a short illness. He was born August 8, 1933 in Sidney, Ohio the son of Donald Meranda and Lena Mae (Wise) Cisco. He was married June 13, 1953 to Colleen Celeste Bensman and she survives along with one son Jeffrey and wife Dixie Cisco of Sidney, Ohio and one grandson, Robert Carl "Bobby" Cisco; also surviving are two brothers, Bill and wife Pauline Cisco of Sidney and Tom Cisco of Sidney. One son is deceased, Anthony Lee Cisco and three brothers, Jerry, Larry, and Donnie Cisco. He was a veteran in the United States Navy for four years. He was a member of the National Rifle Association and loved to play poker and gamble. He was a member of Holy Angels Catholic Church. He was a foreman at Lima Tank Plant in Lima, Ohio for fourteen years and retired in 1993. He worked for Baumfolder before that for thirty years. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, October 2, 2003 at 10:30 AM at Holy Angels Catholic Church with Rev. Earl Fernandes. Burial will be at Shelby Memory Gardens, Sidney, Ohio. Friends may call at Salm-McGill and Tangeman Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 1, 2003 from 6-8 PM. Memorial contributions may be made to Heritage Manor Nursing Home, 24 N. Hamilton St., Minster, Ohio 45865. Contributions may also be made to the American Cancer Society. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
