Matthew M. Finfrock

Matthew M. Finfrock, 28, 214 Charles Ave., Sidney, Ohio died on May 18, 2011. He was born January 6, 1983 in Dayton, Ohio the son of John Finfrock and Barbara (Roe) Finfrock of Sidney. His father is deceased. Surviving are two daughters, Taylah Ann Finfrock and Hannah Marie Finfrock and one sister, Sarah Finfrock Keith of Sidney and a maternal grandmother, Doris Roe of Troy, Ohio; Also surviving are nieces, Lillian Keith, Emily Keith; nephew, Caleb LaRue; four cousins, Terry Harris, Justin Harris, Chad Tipps and Brandon Tipps; two aunts, Violet Harris and Debbie Phelps and one uncle, Randy Roe. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Carl Roe and an uncle, Nelson Roe. His daughters were the love of his life and he touched the lives of many with his kind heart and loving smile. He was a loving father, brother, uncle, nephew and exceptional son. He was an avid Minnesota Vikings fan (Go Vikings). During high school he played soccer, was a member of the band where he played the trumpet, was on the basketball team, ran cross country, and on the swim team. He enjoyed playing golf, being outdoors whether hitting golf balls or working in the yard. Matthew's favorite television show was 'Dog the Bounty Hunter'. He enjoyed listening to music, playing poker and working on computers. He graduated from Sidney High School in 2002 and attended Edison State Community College in Piqua, Ohio majoring in systems administration. He had worked at Lear Corporation (IAC) in Sidney until 2008 as a team leader. A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 17, 2011 at 1:00 PM at Salm-McGill and Tangeman Funeral Home in Sidney with Rev. George Gnade. Friends may call at Salm-McGill and Tangeman Funeral Home on Thursday, June 16, 2011 from 5-7 PM. Matthew will be sadly missed by his loving family and friends. He will always be in our hearts and we will always love you and miss you forever. In remembrance of Matthew, a memorial fund for his daughter, Taylah Finfrock will be set up at Chase Bank, 134 E.
