Maria Corazon Freisthler

Maria Corazon Freisthler, 68, 208 Karen Ave., Sidney, Ohio,  passed away on Sunday, September 28, 2014 at 8:45 AM at Wilson Memorial Hospital in the emergency room of an apparent heart attack.  She was born June 16, 1946 in Minilla, Phillipines the daughter of Jon and Susanna (Hernandez) Bigay and they are deceased.     She was married to John Freisthler on December 12, 1972 in the Phillipines and he survives along with four children, Jorge Bigay Freisthler of Sidney, Jocelyn Bigay York and husband Edward Casper York of Anna, Ohio, Jennifer Bigay Freisthler of Anna, Ohio and Sharon Marie Wise and husband Jason B. Wise of Sidney; two sisters, Carmen Groetken and husband Larry of Denver, Colorado and Ida Andrews and husband Bruce of Manila, Phillipines and eight grandchildren.   She had worked at Stop 99 Truck Stop, Anna, Ohio in the restaurant and also worked at the Pavilion Nursing Home in Sidney.   She loved her children, grandchildren, gardening, cooking, traveling, camping and her flowers.   She was a member of Holy Angels Catholic Church.   A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, October 9, 2014 at 10:30 AM at Holy Angels Catholic Church with Rev. Jim Riehle.   Burial will follow at Pearl Cemetery, Swanders.   Friends may call at Salm-McGill and Tangeman Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 8, 2014 from 4-7 PM.   Memorial contributions may be made to Holy Angels Catholic Church, 324 S.
