Linda M. Wagner

Linda M. Wagner, 76, of Sidney, Ohio, passed away at the Covington Care Center, Covington, Ohio on Thursday, April 19, 2018 at 5:45 AM.   She was born on May 5, 1941, the daughter of Lester J. and Jane M. (Meehling Neer who preceded her in death.   She was a Home Health Aide for 24 years, which put together her love of people and caring nature.   Her children jokingly referred to her as "St. Linda," as she was a devout Catholic and Christian woman and "walked the walk."   She truly loved her family and friends and in return, they loved and enjoyed her.   She is survived by her daughter, Lorraine Herd of Sidney, Ohio and grandchildren, Andrew (Megan) Buckingham of West Milton, Brandon (Kristen) Buckingham of Covington, and Jayna Buckingham of Miamisburg.   She also has a great-granddaughter, Leah Buckingham.   She married Saumel Herd on January 3, 1960 and he perceded her in death as well as her parents and her son Jim Herd.   The family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 25, 2018 at Salm-McGill and Tangeman Funeral Home from 9:00 AM until 10:30 AM.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, April 25, 2018 at Holy Angels Catholic Church with Father Frank Amberger.   Burial will follow at Cedar Point Cemetery, Pasco, Ohio.  Memorial contributions may be made to Holy Angels Catholic Church.   Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.    Salm-McGill and Tangeman Funeral Home is handling the funeral arrangements and condolences may be expressed to the Wagner family on Salm-McGill and Tangeman Funeral Home's web site at:  www.salm-mcgillandtangemanfh.com
