Henry Campbell Obituary

Elder Henry Martin Campbell, 67, 121 W. Poplar Street Sidney Ohio, Apt. #509, died Wednesday, January 4th at 5:00pm in his residence. He was born on March 21, 1944 in Hippo, Kentucky to Hargis and Dixie (Click) Campbell. They are deceased. Henry moved to Shelby County Ohio in 1966. He is survived by 2 daughters, Marie Orr of Sidney, and Heather Campbell of San Francisco California, and a grandson Danny Phillip Orr of Sidney. Also surviving are his brother, Mont, and daughter in law, Rexine, Campbell of Prestonsburg, Kentucky and 4 sisters, Etta Scott of Garrett, Kentucky, Mima Jean and husband, James, Caudill of Sidney Ohio, Ora Allen of Moraine Ohio, and Lottie (Jack) Fraley of Tilton, Michigan. Henry was preceded in death by brothers, Edgel, George, Samuel, and Andrew Jackson and his sister, Billah DeBorad. Henry was an Army Veteran and a member of the National Guard for 17 years. He was a life member of the DAV. November 6th, 2010 marked Henry's 52nd year as an Old Regular Baptist. He was a member of Old Mount Zion Church, Ada, Ohio. He was ordained as an Elder on December 5th 2000. Henry worked at Monarch Tool Company for 31 years and was a member of their Quarter Century Club. Henry retired from NKP parts as a forklift operator on March 21st 2005 after 9 years of employment. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, January 9th 2012, at 10:30am at the Salm-McGill and Tangeman Funeral Home, 502 S. Ohio Ave., Sidney, Ohio 45365. Elder Michael Slone and Elder Greg Moore will be officiating. Burial will be at the Dayton National Cemetery with full military honors. Visitation will be Sunday January 8th from 1-4pm at the funeral home and then again from 9:30am until the time of services on Monday.
