Dallas Eugene Windsor

March 20, 1944 ~ September 29, 2014 (age 70)
Dallas Eugene Windsor, 70, 519 S. Main Ave., Sidney, Ohio, passed away at his residence on Monday, September 29, 2014 at 5:40 PM of natural causes.  He was born March 20, 1944 in Sidney, Ohio, the son of Preston and Helen (Grindel) Windsor and they are deceased.   Surviving is a daughter, Amanda Windsor of Alexandria, Virginia and a son, Tony Fraij and his wife Tricia of Hilliard, Ohio; also surviving is a sister, Rosalee Patterson and husband Ed of Port Jefferson, Ohio and a cousin, James Loos of Sidney and two grandchildren.   Mr. Windsor was a 1962 graduate of Sidney High School.   He was a United States Army veteran serving in the Vietnam War.   He had been a corporate pilot for Coldway Corporation in Sidney before his retirement.   He was a member of the Sidney American Legion, Sidney VFW and the Shelby County Deer Hunter’s Association.   Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 2, 2014 at 2:00 PM at Salm-McGill and Tangeman Funeral Home in Sidney with Rev. Phil Chilcote.   Burial will follow at Graceland Cemetery, Sidney.   Friends may call at Salm-McGill and Tangeman Funeral Home in Sidney from 12 Noon until the hour of service on Thursday, October 2, 2014.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Sidney American Legion, 1265 4th Ave., Sidney, Ohio  45365 or the Sidney VFW, 2841 Wapakoneta Ave., Sidney, Ohio  45365.   Envelopes will also be available at the funeral home.   Condolences may be expressed to the Windsor family on Salm-McGill and Tangeman Funeral Home’s web site at:  www.salm-mcgillandtangemanfh.com
