Clifford Randolph "Randy" Presser

Clifford Randolph “Randy” Presser, 74, 808 N. Miami Ave., Sidney, Ohio, passed away at his residence on Thursday, November 10, 2016 at 9:50 PM after extended illnesses and losing his will to live after losing his beloved wife, Lu Ann (Luckey) Presser.  He is now joining her in heaven.   He was born February 19, 1942 in Painesville, Ohio the son of Hanson Earl and Margaret (Slagle) Presser and they are deceased.   He was married on November 25, 1961 to Lu Ann Luckey and she passed away on January 2, 2016.   Surviving are five children, Lisa Peters of Sidney, Ohio, Jamie Koehler of Dayton, Ohio, Angela Allison of Sidney, Ohio, Melissa Ashby and husband Christopher of Sidney, Ohio and Randy Presser Jr. and wife April of Sidney, Ohio; one sister, Sherry Dewsbury of Summitville, Indiana; eleven grandchildren, Leslie Pratt, Rachel Spille, Erica Bonnoront, Kevin Starrett, Brooke Baughman, Taylor Baughman, Justin Baughman, Everett Ashby, Ella Lu Ashby, Randee Presser III, Alyssa Presser and three great-grandchildren, Lucas Bonnoront, Dexter Bonnoront and Nola Taylor Ann Pratt.   He was a 1960 graduate of Eaton High School in Eaton, Indiana.   He had been a plumber.  He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Sidney.  Memorial services will be held on Thursday, November 17, 2016 at 2:00 PM at Salm-McGill and Tangeman Funeral Home in Sidney, Ohio with Rev. Keith Gebhart.   Memorial contributions may be made to the Miami Valley Chapter Alzheimer’s Association, 31 W. Whipp Rd., Dayton, Ohio  45459 in memory of Lu Ann Presser who was a strong advocate for the Alzheimer’s Association at Dorothy Love Retirement Community in Sidney.   Envelopes will also be available at the funeral home.  Condolences may be expressed to the Presser family on Salm-McGill and Tangeman Funeral Home’s web site at:   www.salm-mcgillandtangemanfh.com
