Carolyn E. Parmelee, 76, 316 Midlane Dr., New Bremen, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, February 2, 2014 at 7:30 AM at the Pavilion in Sidney. She was born on October 17, 1937 in Waynesville, Ohio the daughter of Carl and Esther (Kearns) Dakin and they are deceased. She was married to Thomas Clark in July of 1958 and he passed away on October 11, 2009. She later married Richard Parmelee and he preceded her in death. She is survived by a special friend, Carl Hoehne of New Bremen, Ohio; three daughters, Velina Bogart of Sidney, Ohio, Tana Hutson and husband Ted of Sidney, Ohio and Valerie Burks of Sidney, Ohio and a son, Thomas Dale Clark and wife Sarah of Troy, Ohio; one brother, Dale Dakin and wife Joan of Clarksville, Ohio; six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. One brother, Edward Dakin is deceased. Mrs. Parmelee had been a realtor for many years and retired from Wagner Realty in Sidney. She enjoyed playing cards. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Sidney. Funeral services will be held at Salm-McGill and Tangeman Funeral Home on Friday, February 7, 2014 at 10:30 AM with Rev. David Shepherd. Burial will follow at Graceland Cemetery, Sidney. Friends may call at Salm-McGill and Tangeman Funeral Home on Thursday, February 6, 2014 from 4-8 PM.
