Alvina Rousseau Obituary

ROUSSEAU, Alvina Margaret (Groff) age 91 of Sidney passed away on July 15, 2006 at Garby Ridge. She was born March 14, 1915 in Russia, Ohio to the late Albert J. and Genevieve (Francis) Groff. Alvina is preceded in death by her loving husband of over 60 years, Regis A. Rousseau, and 5 siblings. She is survived by her daughters: Marcia A. (& Wayne) Spoltman, and Sharon (& Gary) Hilgefort both of Sidney, 6 Grandchildren and 13 Great-Grandchildren; sisters: Edna Chenoweth of Piqua, Mary Jane (& Wallace) Carey of Piqua, and brothers: Norbert Goff of Troy, George Groff of Sidney, and Bernard Groff of Piqua. Alvina was a member of Holy Angels Catholic Church and the Rosary Altar Sodality. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, July 18, 2006 at Holy Angels Catholic Church, Sidney, OH. Visitation will be held 9-10:30 AM at Salm McGill and Tangeman Funeral Home, 502 South Ohio Avenue, Sidney prior to the Mass on Tuesday. Interment Graceland Cemetery.
