So very sorry for Anne's passing. She was my best friend in the 80's. More recently we reconnected and watched baseball together. I was also helping her to appointments and errands. She was suffering so and I am glad she is with God now. I will miss you so much, Coonie!

I knew Anne growing up at Custenborder field when she and her family ran concessions. We later connected when I got to high school and she became my tennis coach for four years. She was tough but compassionate and always wanted us to be the best we could be. Rest in Peace Coach Coonie. You'll be missed. (Cathy, you may remember me as Little Apple)

I am so sorry to hear of "Miss Coon's" passing. I loved her as a gym teacher and as a tennis coach. She was very encouraging to me. I always loved her dry sense of humor and how she was so stern and seemingly "gruff" till something got her tickled and she would crack up. Rest in peace Miss Coon and my condolences to her family. She was one special person.

Cathy and Tom, I just saw Anne right before Christmas so was very shocked. We sure had fun together in our neighborhood growing up. I think we were the only 2 girls among all the boys!! What great memories! Anne fought the good fight and is now free of pain. My most sincere sympathy to you both and your families.
