I will miss my Uncle John very much. Our talks on the phone when we would call my Dad Sunday night are something I will cherish and miss. I will never ever forget each and every one of my basketball & football games he came to when I was a kid, he would make it a point to visit each year to see me play. Thoughts and prayers going out to all of you from your Uncle Bill, Aunt Dot and your cuz Joe. Much love!!

I will remember my Uncle John as a kind and hearty man with sparkling eyes and an engaging personality. From my first childhood memories of him, I saw him as a dad who fully participated in taking care of his children, unlike many of the 1960s-era fathers that I saw around me. Later when I was in my 20s and my Aunt Iva became sick, I saw his steadfast devotion and attentiveness to her. He demonstrated what true love looks like. Seeing him during that critical time was a life lesson never forgotten. Rest in peace, Uncle John. I send my love and prayers to my cousins and their families.

I would like to express my sincere condolences to the entire family. I will never forget that familiar smile each time I met your Dad. I consider myself very fortunate to have known a great, kind-hearted, caring man such as your Dad. His pride for each his children and grandchildren was overwhelming as demonstrated during our visits. May the Lord be with your family and all of your relatives through the difficult days ahead. Many prayers are with all of you.
