Mary was such a joy to be around. My mother was at Fairhaven for several years while Mary was there. She did a wonderful job taking care of the "general store." When my mom would want to buy something but didn't have money, Mary would write down what she owed and let me know the next time she saw me! She knew Mom wouldn't remember!
I loved talking with her! I'm so sorry for your loss.

Very sorry for your loss. Having lived by Mary & Hughey on piper street for a few years, we have only very special memories of that time.

Dear Jack, Jill & Family,
I'm so sorry for the loss of your Mother (Aunt Mary). She always seemed to have a smile on her face and was so soft spoken. Mom's are supposed to be here forever!
Please accept my apology for not being able to get to Ohio in person to give you my condolences.
All of you are in my thoughts and prayers.

Love, Lila
