To Jim's family, you have our deepest sympathy. We met Jim at Camp Qtokee and became very good friends with the Spangler family. Jim knew how to have fun and he sure did. We always knew when he was out and about with that laugh of his. He also knew how to get in trouble too but did not act alone, he always seem to get help from his friends. We enjoyed the times we spent out there with him and the last few years that we were camping we would chat with him when he was at Jace's mowing or just relaxing. He certainly will be missed by many. Rest In Peace Jim.

I grew up in Sidney at a time that there was always a Spangler on the football team. Jim was the first in a long line of brothers who became Yellow Jackets. The name "Spangler" is still synonymous with Sidney football. My thoughts are with Jim's family.

Ed Gold

It has been many years since I last saw Jim. I am so sorry for your loss, the entire Spangler is in my thuoghts and prayers, God Bless.

During the time of caring for Carolyn I got to know Jim. He had the greatest laugh and smile. I admired him so much for the care he gave his mother. he was a hard working man. He liked his red dog lol! He loved his family so much. We would sit and talk about them. He was so proud of being a Spangler as I am sure you all were of him. He will be missed but I can still hear his laugh and I'm sure is is still ornery up there just plotting for when he sees you again! Prayers are with you at this time. Kathy and Dale
